Hello, England!

Well, I made it!!! I arrived at the England MTC at 7:30 this morning, England time that is! When we got here, it was a super cliche English day: cloudy, rainy, and windy! I loved it! The MTC is super nice and I cannot wait to see what the next two weeks have in store for me here! Anyone, just letting you all know I survived and I'm ready to get working! Love and miss you all!!

Called to Serve

I have been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have been called to labor in the Scotland/Ireland mission where I will spend 2 years spreading the wonderful gospel which has helped shape who I am today. I will leave behind my worldly possessions including my cell phone, my music, and all things Disney. The only means of communication I will have is by email which I only get to do once a week. I will get to Skype/call my family twice a year (Mother's Day & Christmas). You may be thinking I am totally insane. This is a major sacrifice especially for 19 year old. Here is why I am doing this. I am not being forced, I am not being paid (in fact I am paying to do this). I am doing this because I love my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. I love the Book of Mormon and the infinite happiness it has brought to my life. I love the knowledge I have gained through my 19 years being a member of this Church and I want to share it with the world.
